Value Brought to the Project

Carl Cooke brings more than 27 years of commercial building design and construction experience to CxL Building Envelope Commissioning. His range of experience is unlike many others, having worked in a materials testing and inspection laboratory, having performed on site inspection of construction materials and procedures on projects ranging from schools to high-rise office buildings to nuclear power plants.

He has also been an in-house specifications writer, estimator and construction contract administrator for an architectural firm, project manager and estimator for a general contractor as well as having run projects in the field from foundations to completion. This breadth of experience affords him the ability to understand the constructability and sequencing issues faced in the field and recognize them in the construction documents.

Experience

Carl Cooke brings to CxL Building Envelope Commissioning over 27 years of experience in a wide range of technical disciplines. He has represented a wide variety of clients while working with a broad array of architects and contractors.

Carl has performed laboratory and field testing of soils, concrete, steel and machinery using standard and specialized engineering practices. He has performed non-destructive testing of nuclear plant structures and machinery. He has also developed solid working knowledge of practical engineering in applications ranging from soils, concrete and steel erection to HVAC systems and controls.

Carl has represented owner’s interests on major commercial projects for private clients including:
